It is expected that President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to South Korean officials, may meet by the end of May 2018 even if neither the date nor the place have been set yet.

Regarding the place could be Ulan Bator (Mongolia) or from the other side Sweden or Switzerland the latter is the only country known to Kim, he studied there under a pseudonym as a young man, in fact he never leaves North Korea to avoid attacks on his person or coups.

However, the most likely place for the meeting could be in the demilitarized zone of border between North Korea and South Korea (DMZ Panmunjom).

But what will be discussed? President Trump stated that he intends to accept only the permanent denuclearization of the country. Trump therefore calls for the end of North Korea's nuclear program, but surely Kim will not accept requests without concessions, ie reduction of sanctions and simultaneous increase in aid as North Korea is composed of 25 million people living in a terrible state of poverty.

Once sitting in front of a table, Kim and Trump will have to propose feasible things to ensure that no one comes home empty-handed.

The rapprochement between Kim and South Korea, after the serious nuclear test last September, which earned Kim the nickname of "little rocket man", given to him by Trump, began with the New Year's speech when Kim waved a branch of olive tree allowing athletes to be sent to the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. During the opening ceremony, North Korea and South Korea marched under a unified flag. Miracle of sport.

On 21 February 1972, President Richard Nixon arrived in Beijing to meet Mao Zedong putting an end to 25 years of hostility between the United States and China.

Will the same thing happen next May with North Korea? As he said two days ago, Trump no one knows what will happen.
