Come il vertice degli "Amici della Siria" inizia questa settimana, contemporaneamente si attende un'intensa ondata d attacchi terroristici in tutta la Siria. Le aspettative di un intervento militare in Siria si sono ridotti in seguito alle esercitazioni militari "Eager Lion II". Nel frattempo, i paesi dell'Asse americano sono tornati a riunirsi sotto l'ombrello degli "Amici della Siria", per discutere dell'invio di armi ai ribelli in Siria.
